Getting to THE EVENT

By road:

Please enter BS8 1RL into your sat-nav for directions, but note that the museum has no on-site public parking. You can use nearby paid off-street facilities at West End Car Park (BS8 1EH) or Trenchard Street Car Park (BS1 5AN), both located within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the entrance.

By bus:

First Bus routes 1, 2, 8, and 9 run frequently from across Bristol and stop directly outside on Queen’s Road, while route 72 links the museum directly to the main railway station.

By train:

Bristol Temple Meads is the main station, located 2.5 kilometres (a 25-minute walk or short bus ride) from the museum. Great Western Railway (GWR) offers direct services from major hubs like London Paddington, Cardiff Central, Birmingham New Street, and Reading, connecting the museum to the rest of the UK.
