After more than a year of planning, designing, testing and refining, HSBC recently completed the migration of their global Major Incident Management process to a new platform based on ServiceNow.
Despite the stability of their previous solution, the move offered the opportunity to improve and automate the end-to-end process in numerous ways, including significant enhancements to incident communications (75% populated by the incident record), a higher level of integration across the board, and a live dashboard that offered ‘a real air traffic control feeling.’
