Online Event – Service Transition: Lunch & Learn
This session takes a close look the Service Transition offering within the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
The DWP is responsible for welfare, pensions and child maintenance policy. It’s the UK’s biggest public service department, which administers the State Pension and a range of working age, disability and ill health benefits to around 20 million citizens. The systems, tools and expertise required to run, support and maintain an organisation of that size and importance are vast.
Being responsible for introducing new/enhanced services into an IT estate of that scale isn’t for the fainthearted..
We will dive deep into what Service Transition means in DWP. Their interlock with IT Service Design and the importance of our wider Service Management community. How they react when things don’t go to plan. The artifacts they produce and of course take any questions that you might have along the way.
