Community of Practice – Strategy and Planning Kick off

itSMF UK’s Communities of Practice (CoPs) provide the opportunity to bring together like-minded professionals to focus on areas of common interest. Our CoPs allow members to explore new ideas, challenge and discuss Service Management principles, practices, toolsets and frameworks. Initially there will be three Communities, that number may be flexed and expanded as the needs of the itSMF UK member community demands.

Strategy and Planning Community

The purpose of this community is to bring together volunteers who have registered their interest following the official CoP launch with Mark Burgess as chair, who will facilitate a virtual introduction for the current community members with a view to plan future events and ways of working for the CoP.

There are some early items of business to cover including a review of the proposed Terms of Reference and CoP Charter that have been prepared. It will also steer and inform future topics, sessions and outputs for Strategy and Planning as one of the three Communities.

How we work, collaborate and shape the future of the Strategy and Planning Community will depend on the members themselves. We hope you will be part of that process.
