Community of Practice – Management of Service Kick off

itSMF UK’s Communities of Practice (CoPs) provide the opportunity to bring together like-minded professionals to focus on areas of common interest. Our CoPs allow members to explore new ideas, challenge and discuss Service Management principles, practices, toolsets and frameworks. Initially there will be three Communities, but that number may be flexed and expanded as the needs of the itSMF UK member community demands.

Management of Service Community

The purpose of this Community is to bring together volunteers who have registered their interest following the official CoP launch with Richard Oliver as chair, who will facilitate a virtual introduction for the current Community members with a view to plan future events and ways of working.

There are some early items of business to cover including a review of the proposed Terms of Reference and CoP Charter that have been prepared. It will also steer and inform future topics, session and outputs for Management of Service as one of the three Communities.

How we work, collaborate and shape the future of the Management of Service Community will depend on the members themselves. We hope that you will be part of that process.
