Defence CoP – Evolving Service Management in Defence
UK defence is evolving rapidly, and with it comes a renewed need for collaboration, consistency, and shared capability across the Ministry of Defence and the wider defence industry. To meet this challenge, the Armed Forces Community of Practice has become the Defence Community of Practice (CoP); bringing fresh purpose, a clearer identity, and a stronger platform for practitioners to connect and shape the future of service management in defence; alongside the CoP’s original purpose of promoting service management as a career for both those serving in the armed forces and veterans.
Join us for this exclusive event hosted by Defence CoP Chair Simon Powell and a guest speaker. Together, they will discuss why the CoP has been reimagined, how it aligns with modern defence priorities, and what it means for MOD teams, prime contractors, suppliers, integrators, and consultants.
