This webinar provides an overview of the role of a service architect, focusing on its scope and the skills required to do the job effectively. To illustrate the points made, I will be using a high-level analogy of the service architect role – using the example of a car and the thought processes employed when designing services. The presentation also includes a week in the life of a service architect, and a view of my personal journey in the role.
Having been a Service Architect and an integral part of the internal IT Service Management Team at British Car Auctions, itSMF UK Vice Chair Claire Drake moved to a similar role in Fujitsu Services. Here she explains her journey and that of some of her colleagues as they grew into the Service Architect role.
