Join us on 23rd May in Birmingham for our next SMtech forum: ‘Artificial Intelligence – welcome to the machine!’. Like so much industry jargon, the term artificial intelligence has been appropriated to mean very different things in different contexts. There is clear potential to use AI within service management to dramatically improve the customer experience. But there’s a world of difference between simple automation, widely demonstrated with tools such as chatbots, and the far deeper application of AI that becomes possible if sufficient data and insight are applied to the customer’s specific support requirements.
