Our next FREE member meet-up event for Scotland will take place at Edinburgh Napier University on 5th February. The event will include presentations focused on the “User Experience” and provide an opportunity for members to gather with other practitioners to share experiences, listen to guest speakers, and discuss key service management issues. It will also feature a brief itSMF UK update.

User-Centred Service Management - This presentation will explore the benefits and challenges of taking a user-centred approach to service management, discuss ITSM and UX education and introduce the Sensorium UX lab at Napier (with guided tours available).

Grassroots and Guerrillas: embedding UX in IT - Kat Husbands and her project colleagues are working to increase the University of Glasgow's UX maturity. Kat will share some of their successes and failures so far, and lead a group exercise to demonstrate a user research technique anyone can try.
