itSMF UK’s Communities of Practice (CoPs) provide the opportunity to bring together like-minded professionals to focus on areas of common interest. Our CoPs allow members to explore new ideas, challenge and discuss Service Management principles, practices, toolsets and frameworks. This will be the second of two sessions on our prioritised topic of Service Strategy and Cultural change.
The first session gathered excellent information on what a Service Strategy could contain, how to approach defining one and some thoughts on cultural change as a key element of any strategy. What was highlighted as artefacts for us to produce on this topic were a White Paper and some guidance templates, which the community members felt would be of most value to itSMF UK members. This session will review drafts of these, and add addition content where it will help. The path to review and publish these will also be discussed.
Through these discussions some good practice guidance and materials will be produced for itSMF UK members to use. It is expected that the Strategy and Planning CoP will also present at ITSM2021 using some or all of this content.
