The BMC Helix Capability Experience: Accelerating Value for ServiceOps

Facilitated by our delivery partner SXP, the BMC Helix Capability Experience – also known as the BMC Helix Airways Digital Strategy Game – simulates a complex enterprise airline business model that immerses participants in the challenges and opportunities faced by BMC Helix customers and prospects.
Over the course of three hours, teams must analyse key business metrics and apply BMC Helix solutions to optimise organisational performance. Feedback on strategy choice is immediate, along with resultant position on the peer Leaderboard.
BMC Helix Airways is a global airline which must improve the delivery of operational services whilst trying to do more with less. It has a global reach and a loyal customer base but, with a legacy IT enterprise and ways of working that are no longer fit for purpose, the business is being undermined by the poor delivery of technology.
The consequences of this are a rapid increase in abandoned passenger journeys, loss of potential revenue, increased cost of operations and a progressive erosion of customer satisfaction.
About this simulation
The aim of the simulation is to provide a compelling, interactive overview of how the key capabilities of the BMC Helix portfolio (including AI and Agentics) combine to deliver Customer Value, so that delegates can “Experience” the potential business benefits of BMC Helix and generate more meaningful conversations about their Service Operations’ needs, options and approach.
In competing teams, you will analyse data to understand the current state and apply your operations experience and knowledge to optimise and accelerate IT Performance in four areas: System Availability, Support Costs, Change Value and C-sat.
