While most of our member events are aimed at professionals with at least some experience of service management, we are delighted to announce a brand new Introduction to ITSM. We’re often asked for a basics session for newcomers and we think this one really fits the bill.
Developed and piloted internally by members at BT Enterprise led by itSMF UK Board member Valerie Wilson, the event is designed not just to appeal to apprentices and graduates starting out in the work enviroment but also to those moving into this area from other parts of the business. Covering all the core processes and practices and how they fit together, the class helps to position the building blocks of ITSM in a way that is accessible to all.
Our initial pilot session in October filled up within hours of being announced, so we’re pretty sure there’s plenty of demand. We’re looking to schedule some repeat sessions between now and the end of the year, once we’ve assimilated the feedback from the pilot.
