While most of our member events are aimed at professionals with at least some experience of service management, we’re aware that many member organisations are also looking to develop talent through apprentice and graduate schemes – as well as those reskilling.
We delivered a brand new ‘Introduction to ITSM’ masterclass event in October which was fully booked within 48 hours of the launch and received excellent feedback. Covering all the core processes and practices and how they fit together, this online event helps to position the building blocks of ITSM in a way that is accessible to all.
A consistent theme of the feedback from this pilot event was that the practical exercises were great, but attendees would like more. With this in mind we’ve teamed up with our business simulation partner GamingWorks and are delighted to announce ‘Part 2’ of our Introduction to ITSM programme.
Introduction to ITSM – Part 2
This interactive in-person business simulation event provides an opportunity for the theory learned during Part 1 to be applied in a realistic educational and fun environment. Delegates can experiment and experience the effect of applying the theory – allowing them to learn from choices that are made because the effect is immediately visible. Step by step the team will apply basic ITSM processes and will learn how to deal with different business and IT situations.
Taking on both business and IT roles, delegates are faced with a realistic workload, changed plans, new priorities and security requirements, and much more input that puts pressure on the group. Working as a team, the challenge is to solve the issues using the available knowledge and skills.
Open to itSMF UK members only, each part of the programme costs £99 + VAT per delegate.
