itSMF UK are delighted to welcome Kevin Sharp to the Board of itSMF UK following last month’s member election, replacing Tristan Thorpe from the Department for Work & Pensions, who steps down after two years in the role.
Kevin is Head of Service Management, Group Technology, at Legal & General, a leading financial services group and major global investor. He is an award-winning technology leader & ITIL Managing Professional with over 25 years’ experience working for large corporates and enterprise-level organisations in Financial Services, Telecommunications & Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Kevin has proven experience of improving customer experience for FTSE 100 organisations through the creation of excellent relationships with key stakeholders, building & sustaining high performance teams & proactive service management. In the itSMF UK he is currently the acting chair of the Leadership Council, a regular Professional Service Management Award (PSMA) Judge and a contributor to the Professional Service Management Framework (PSMF).
“I’m passionate about Service Management and really excited to help itSMF UK grow by offering new and innovative services to its members to use to create true value for their businesses,” he said. Kevin will represent Corporate and Enterprise 25/50 members on the Board from 1st October.
Other Board members will remain in place for the coming year. Karen Brusch (Nationwide) and Claire Drake (Fujitsu) continue as Chair and Vice Chair respectively. Richard Horton (NIHR CRNCC), Adrian Chiffi (CGI), Nathan McDonald (Deloitte), Rosh Hosany (PwC), Yogesh Patel (Dataquest), Valerie Wilson (BT), Natalie Law (Network Rail), and Daniel Breston (Independent) also remain in their current roles.
Chair Karen Brusch thanked Tristan Thorpe for his contribution to the Board over the last two years, and said she looked forward to working with Kevin Sharp in the months ahead.
