The audio-video technology that ClickMeeting uses is HTML5 technology and WebRTC – it is the highest HTML5 standard that connects the browser with ClickMeeting in real-time.
You can use the WebRTC technology with the latest versions of web browsers like Google Chrome, Opera, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox. Those browsers support the new audio-video technology entirely – Microsoft Edge is also compatible, but only with the very latest version (see notes below).
As of 12 March 2020, the latest version of the two most common browsers are below:
Google Chrome (Version 114.0.5735.106)
Microsoft Edge (Version 113.0.1774.57)
We strongly recommend choosing Google Chrome, because this browser is the most advanced in terms of integrating with the WebRTC technology.
Additional requirements that must be met:
• 2 GHz dual-core processor or better (4-core preferable)
• 2 GB of RAM (4 GB or more recommended)
• Operating systems such as Windows 8 (Windows 10 recommended), Mac OS 10.13 (the newest version recommended), Linux, Chrome OS.
