Announcing Betty Bee: Our NEW AI Assistant to help members find knowledge faster

We are pleased to announce the launch of Betty Bee, our new AI-powered knowledge assistant created to help members search trusted content, access resources, and find answers more quickly.

A faster way to find trusted answers
Designed to make it easier to navigate itSMF UK’s growing library of resources, Betty Bee helps members locate relevant information, explore guidance, and connect with useful content in a simple conversational format. The assistant is grounded exclusively in itSMF UK content, including member area resources, website information, blogs, white papers, and event recordings, making it easier for members to discover the knowledge already available to them.

What Betty Bee can help with
By asking simple questions, members can use Betty Bee to:

  • Find guidance and best practice: “What is the best way to manage communications during a major incident?”
  • Locate publications and resources: “Where can I find recent white papers or blogs on artificial intelligence in service management?”
  • Prepare for learning and development: “Which webinars or event recordings could help me learn more about incident management?”
  • Stay informed about events and opportunities: “What upcoming itSMF UK events are relevant to artificial intelligence or service management?”

Betty Bee is intended to save members time, improve access to trusted knowledge, and support a better experience when searching for guidance, learning opportunities, and member resources.

Unlike general-purpose AI tools, Betty Bee has been created specifically for the itSMF UK community. It supports members by helping them to locate information within our trusted resources, whether they are looking for practical guidance, professional development content, event information, or insight from the wider service management community.
