Call for Presentations - ITSM18
Share |

We’re looking for speakers for this year’s itSMF UK Annual Conference, on 19th-20th November in Central London, and this year we want you to help us set the agenda. We are simply looking for practical examples of service management in action, both inside and outside IT – stories of real transformation across the business or innovative approaches to familiar problems.

You don’t have to be an experienced speaker – we can coach and support you. If you would prefer to present with a colleague, that’s fine too. We are keeping the programme streams open at this stage, although we’ve listed a few potential themes below to help you.
  • Digital transformation – using digital solutions to transform the customer experience and support the business
  • Cloud service management – the reality of managing cloud service delivery, including IoT, big data, and cyber
  • Modern ITSM – using Artificial Intelligence, automation, machine learning, DevOps, SIAM, lean, agile, and other approaches to deliver better services, more quickly
  • Trusted solutions to new problems — applying change, problem, incident, asset, and knowledge management to solve new challenges within the enterprise
  • Continual service improvement – building a culture of improvement across the organisation, with metrics and practices to match
  • The new service manager – using soft skills to complement the basic competencies of IT service management.

Please remember that these themes are merely suggestions, and should not constrain you from putting any new ideas forward. The only requirement of any presentation is that it must be practical – ie, deliver real “how to’s” that delegates can take away and use to improve and succeed in their own organisations after the event. Whatever the topic, we simply need a few details from you by 30th April for us to take into consideration when shaping this year’s conference agenda.

If you have a presentation to put forward for consideration, please submit your session abstract and speaker biography u
