In an IT context, the term ‘agile’ simply means using a different approach to managing IT and software development teams, with the aim of delivering the outcomes promised to the customer in a more tangible and timely manner. For the business, Agile offers an excellent way of responding to the accelerating rate of change within the organisation. But a smooth transition is key; this paper explains how to successfully manage service transition within an Agile environment.
