Financial Management - IT Service Pricing

Title:

IT Service Pricing

Author:

Stuart Tarrant

Organisation:

4sl Group

Category:

Financial Management

Summary:

Service pricing is about turning the cost of technology products and services into a consumption-based recharge to the end user, just like one of your utility bills. Conceptually it is no more complex than that, but it has two major benefits which far outweigh the work of getting it off the ground: first, it makes customers think about whether they really need what they're using - in terms of quantity and service level - and second, it makes them think twice before ordering new products and services.
Stuart Tarrant is a dynamic change agent having worked on both the end-user and supplier sides of enterprise IT. As co-founder of 4sl Group he helps organisations bridge the gap between the demand and supply side of IT.
