Welcome to ITSMF UK

ITSMF UK is the founding chapter of the global itSMF movement - the industry forum dedicated to IT Service Management (ITSM). Like all itSMF chapters around the world, we operate as an independent, not-for-profit, membership owned organisation. Our members are our business.

 

ITSMF UK is a highly collaborative network of leading ITSM suppliers, consumers, stakeholders and thought leaders, collectively sharing views, influencing, contributing to and promoting ITSM best practice

 

Our members access industry expertise, share experience, and directly influence and contribute to the evolution and pr omotion of ITSM best practice both within the industry and beyond.

 

ITSMF UK members range from organisations just embarking upon their ITSM journey that want to learn from the experience of others, through to organisations at the leading edge of ITSM best practice. It is a forum in the true sense of the word, in that best practice and experience comes collectively from our members and is shared freely amongst our members.

ITSMF is the only internationally recognised and independent organisation dedicated to IT Service Management. As the largest and founding chapter of the global IT Service Management Forum movement, ITSMF UK operates a diverse set of member services in the UK and we are a highly active participant in the worldwide ITSMF community. Globally, the IT Service Management Forum includes 6,000 member organisations, encompassing in excess of 70,000 individuals spread across 53+ chapters around the world. Each chapter operates as autonomous legal entities, co-ordinated by ITSMF International. ITSMF works in partnership with a wide range of other bodies around the world as a major contributor to industry 'best practice' and standards.

We are a fully inclusive industry forum, actively encouraging the involvement of those organisations that use ITSM best practice, products and services, those organisations that provide ITSM products and services, and organisations in academia and standards.

We also address the significant demand for greater awareness and understanding of ITSM best practice outside of those directly involved in ITSM - extending the reach of the UK ITSM community and enabling an even wider exchange of views, sharing of experience and member participation in continuous development and promotion of ITSM and related best practice.

ITSMF UK is highly active throughout the year, with a continuous UK programme of focused events, seminars, master classes, meetings for specialist committees, special interest groups and regional groups, along with publication of our quarterly journal, Service Talk, which is the leading periodic publication for the global ITSM community.

 

Our Annual Conference is a key focal point in our schedule, attracting attendees from both the UK and international. The conference also includes the leading ITSM industry exhibition and our annual awards ceremony.
