ITSMF UK is the country's leading association for organisations involved in IT service management.
Our membership is drawn from a wide cross-section of
organisations, including ITSM suppliers and service providers; user
organisations; training companies and academia; consultancy, standards and
practice bodies; as well as independent professionals. Altogether, we have over
700 member organisations covering 7,000 individuals. Our members range from
large multinational companies to small firms working across the commercial,
public and not-for-profit sectors.
The premier community for IT service
We aim to provide a thriving industry forum to actively share
views and experiences, access professional expertise and support resources, learn
new techniques, keep up to speed with industry news and developments, meet other
like-minded professionals, and collaborate in the development and promotion of
best practice and standards. All of which in turn helps member organisations to
get the best results from their own IT service management.
Set up in 1991, ITSMF UK is the founding member of an
international network of 53 national IT service management groups. It is a
global community that now has over 6,000 member organisations, representing
over 70,000 individuals working in the field of IT service management.
Run for the benefit of our members
We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation run for
the benefit of our members. There is a Board made up of elected and appointed members, supported by a number of volunteer-run
committees. Members also run a wide range of regional groups and specialist
interest groups. The Forum is supported
by a small national office staff based in Bracknell.
