ITSM15, our Annual Conference and Exhibition, landed at Sofitel London Heathrow T5 on the 23rd and 24th November. We would like to take this opportunity to thank this year's sponsors, speakers, exhibitors and delegates for making ITSM15 such a success.
With four dedicated tracks of educational presentations, interactive sessions and case studies from a line-up of top industry experts (from ITSM consultants to representatives of large international organisations) the conference truly did offer something for everyone. The event was opened by ITSMF UK Chair, Rosemary Gurney. You can read her opening comments and plans for the future of ITSMF UK hereor watch her podcast below.
Our opening keynote Simon Wheatcroft shared his inspirational story of how with persistence and determination he was able to overcome all obstacles. Having lost his sight at 17 he began a journey of adapting technology to achieve the impossible and through the aid of a smartphone and the feeling underfoot Simon learnt to run solo outdoors. Simon continues to run solo and now runs ultra-marathons, distances of 50 and often 100 miles. Simon has recently run the New York marathon, but as that is only 25 miles, he started it in Boston, at the head offices of RunTracker over 250 miles away.
For the ITSM exhibition we were pleased to welcome back some familiar faces and excited to introduce some new ones to the event. For more information on our speakers and exhibitors at ITSM15 you can download a copy of our Conference & Exhibition Guide.
Our annual ITSM Industry Awards dinner is always a great opportunity for the ITSM community to show special recognition to those teams and individuals whose skills, commitment and imagination deserve to be highlighted. This year was no exception. With a sell-out crowd this year's awards dinner, hosted by John Parrott MBE, was truly a great way for the industry to celebrate the achievements and dedication of their colleagues and peers. You can see a full line-up of winners here.
We are proud to announce that during the awards dinner we were able to raise £2600 for The Make-A-Wish Foundation. Thank you to those who contributed and helped us support this wonderful charity.

We will be adding presentations and other conference related materials here in the next few days, but here are some initial thoughts on the event from the industry to get you started.
