Event Description
The first North Regional Meeting of 2012 is a packed event with two complimenting subjects on the agenda, Baselines and Benchmarks & Implementing the mysterious Service Design Package.
The event will be hosted by the Co-operative Banking Group in Manchester and promises to be an insightful and instructive day with presentations from Ian MacDonald, Technology Leader (and ITIL Author) and Andy Birds, Applications Manager.
The first key topic of the day “Baselines and Benchmarks” will be presented by Ian MacDonald, The Co-operative Banking group. Ian’s enthusiasm for IT Service management is infectious and his drive to improve Service standards and IT professionalism is exemplary. In this presentation Ian will share his experience in how Service Management process maturity can be monitored and measured through:
Process Maturity Assessments (Gartner)
SDI
Process Management
Tooling
Operating Model
The next key topic of the day, "The Mysterious Service Design Package" will be from Andy Birds,The Co-operative Banking Group:
In ITIL 2011 the Service Design Package is an essential part of the service lifecycle and consequently a new concept in some organisations. So if you’ve ever wondered what that Service Design Package is all about or if you know the theory but can’t see how it will work in practice don’t miss this session. Andy will describe its purpose, when to use it and how The Co-operative Banking Group is making it work for them.
The day will be a combination of presentations and interactive workshop groups, offering the opportunity to network with other IT Service Management professionals from different organisations and different perspectives.
I do hope you can make the next North Regional Meeting and look forward to meeting you on Tuesday 3rd April.
