What is it?
This workshop provides a detailed overview of the costs, dependencies, risks and benefits of implementing SIAM, and the relative strengths of the different approaches available. This session is led by SIAM special interest group founder Steve Morgan, an award-winning veteran of service integration.
Who is it for?
This workshop is ideal for those about to embark upon a SIAM programme, or those wishing to optimise their existing SIAM operations.
What does it involve?
We'll be starting at ground zero, with a clear definition of SIAM, and explanation of the various SIAM operating models which can be deployed, along with an appraisal of each one, based upon your specific requirements.
We'll discuss the importance of process models and tooling strategies, along with governance approaches and we'll be exploring some of the challenges and how these can be overcome.
We'll also explore some of the important factors present in a successful programmes and describe how to overcome some of the common problems in operating a SIAM model.
This workshop is highly interactive, so be prepared to bring your specific issues and challenges, for discussion and resolution on the day.
