We are rapidly becoming a smaller and more diverse global community across the world in Service Transition. Additionally, with the increase of outsourcing and cost savings, we are seeing less emphasis on a single physical location and more on remote locations both in the UK and abroad. How we balance these challenges is the focus of our next event. After all, in order for transition to be successful, we must reduce the distance and the miles between our colleagues, stakeholders and customers.
At this member event, we’ll first set the scene by hearing how the University of Nottingham are approaching their remote and international service transition challenges, before looking at various aspects of the problem such as:
- Process & tools - thinking global, acting local for example
- People & culture – how do we identify and knock down barriers such as location, culture and time zones?
- Maturity & improvement – how do we improve, mature and collaborate whilst aligning to strategic and customer aims?
