ITIL Small-scale Implementation

Originally published as 'ITIL Practices in Small IT Units' this book was updated and re-published under a title encompassing the numerous changes to ITIL that have occurred in the last ten years. It is not a book about ITIL shortcuts or cutting corners nor is it about Service Management as a finite set of things that can be done and choosing which not to do. This book considers how the circumstances of delivering effective ITSM management are affected by situations that typically occur within a small organisation and how to get good results quickly by adapting the ITIL advice to circumstances. Its purpose is to reacquaint IT organisations both large and small with how the implementation of ITIL best practices can be scaled to meet the constraints facing almost any IT organisation today.
