itSMF UK Revolutionise their web communications
The IT Service Management Forum UK implement new website.
Leading by example, the itSMF has responded to its members needs, and a strategic review by the itSMF board, by redeveloping their website and operational systems compliment growing member requirements and a burgeoning organisation. With communication needs heading the agenda, the forum has worked to provide a comprehensive and sustainable resource, which is easily accessible and provides exclusive content and services for its members with a modern approach.
The main product that the itSMF members will see is the revamped itSMF website which allows members access to a network of industry experts, a new online ordering system that includes a new bookshop and events booking tool, which now accept credit cards or uploaded Purchase Orders immediately, with links to information resources and advice on addressing service management issues. It is a tool in helping to achieve the delivery of high quality, consistent IT service internally and externally through the adoption of "best practice".
Keith Aldis itSMF CEO comments, "The itSMF has entered a process oforganisational change. In the past few years our membership has grown dramatically which has created the need for a more functional operation to accommodate such growth. Our website is now more than a registration processing solution. It clarifies the many advantages and features available to both current and potential itSMF members. We hope that members will help us help them, in utilising all of the new website's features, itSMF in return will reward them with a more tailored benefit package."
The web tool gives control to our members with functions that allow them to change their own membership details, enhance profiles about their own organisations for listings and update interests so that the itSMF can ensure that individuals are receiving the best information for their chosen membership. There will be unique discussion forums where professional members can share with and learn from other members of the industry and regular industry news updates.
As itSMF moves forward in its redevelopment and modernisation members should look out for more exciting developments and member benefits over the next 18 months.
