The SFIA Foundation Announces Spanish Language Version of SFIA
The SFIA Foundation announces the launch on Wednesday 11 November of its Spanish Language web site from where users can obtain a Spanish version of Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA). SFIA has become a worldwide phenomenon, in use in over 100 countries, and was already available in English, Japanese and Chinese. It has a worldwide reputation as a highly practical taxonomy of Professional IT skills. The SFIA Foundation has now made arrangements with its partner in Chile, Segacy Ltda of Santiago, for the availability of SFIA in Spanish.
As with the English version of SFIA, Spanish SFIA is open-source: users can obtain an end-user licence free of charge.
The ninth SFIA Conference on Skills Management in IT will take place on 2 December 2009 in London.
