UK Submission of the Year awarded international prize

Congratulations to itSMF UK member Ian Macdonald, Senior IT Specialist at The Co-Operative Financial Services, who has won itSMF International's Submission of the Year competition. His paper, entitled "A simple, low-cost but innovative approach to end-to-end service reporting", won the itSMF UK Submission of the Year award in 2009 and was subsequently put forward for the inter-chapter contest, where it beat off competition from 18 other finalists.

According to the itSMFI panel of judges, "There was very strong competition for first place. The winning paper came out on top because of its innovative approach to a popular subject that a large percentage of our members will find very useful."
