itSMF UK IT Service Management Awards Officially Open

Barry Corless, itSMF UK Chairman has officially opened the itSMF UK IT Service Management Awards; an industry awards program, with the opportunity to showcase IT Service Management best practices and standards to the IT industry and businesses that are heavily reliant on IT in the management and delivery of services to their customers.

The IT Service Management Awards are awarded annually, and are recognised as genuine industry-wide awards for outstanding achievement in the field of Service Management. Nominations for the awards are accepted from the industry as whole, both individuals and organisations. The award criteria for each category are clearly defined as is the judging of each category. The nominations will be assessed by a totally impartial panel of judges, drawn from experienced industry professionals. With a prestigious Awards Dinner being held for the finalists and winners at the itSMF UK Conference, which this year takes place on the 9-10th November 2009.
