New itSMFI Executive Board

Following itSMF International's AGM and Chapter Meeting last week in The Netherlands, the Chairman of the Executive Board (Brian Jennings), is pleased to announce that the Full Board confirmed the appointment of the new directors of the organisation moving forward from January 2008.

They are:

  • Sharon Taylor (UK)
  • Alexander Kist (Netherlands)
  • Colin Rudd (UK)
  • Paul Martini (Germany)
  • Peter Brooks (South Africa)
  • Robert Stroud (USA)

The new Board will take up office on 1st January 2008 for two years and will elect a Vice Chairman and Treasurer and assign portfolios to the Directors.

The Executive Board's next immediate task is to seek nominations for a 7th Director as requested at the AGM, from Chapters and it will begin this process following the UK conference in Brighton.

Keith Aldis the organisation's Company Secretary and Chief Executive Officer will be writing to Chapter Representatives on this shortly seeking further nominations to the executive Board. It is expected that this additional person will also take up post from January 2008.

The Executive Board will then be up to full strength and then will elect a Vice Chairman and Treasurer and assign portfolios to the Directors.
