itSMF UK Supports IBM’s Service Management World Tour
With the lead up to our 17th annual Conference and Exhibition of which IBM are Platinum Sponsors, we were only too pleased to show our presence at the UK stint of the 'IBM Service Management World Tour'. Ben Clacy, Business Development Manager said "It's always beneficial to see and keep up to date with what is being offered to the market by our vendor members, plus the tour gave us opportunity to meet with current and potential members and also strengthen our relationship with IBM."
The event took place at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge and was attended by approximately 200 delegates. The aim of the day was to provide insight into how to effectively articulate the benefits of Service Management into your business; this was shown through either IBM customer case studies or IBM solutions, with the day being divided into six streams:
- Datacenter transformation
- Service assurance, asset and financial management
- Service delivery and process automation
- Storage management
- Security, risk and compliance.
