New Sustainable Service Management Special Interest Group gets Chair and Vice-Chair
John Godwin of Attenda Ltd and Paul Brayford of the Audit Commission have been elected as Chair and Vice-Chair of the new Sustainable Service Management Special Interest Group (revised name) respectively.
The first of many actions for the newly elected Chair and Vice-Chair with their working party was to decide on a permanent name for this Special Interest Group that covers the scope of which this group could cover. This has now been agreed and the original name of Green IT has been changed to the agreed new name of Sustainable Service Management.
Alongside that they are also now focusing on what the relevant and appropriate work streams for this new group should be going forward.
They aim to have the first full meeting of the SIG working party by the end of 2009 and the first public meeting held in the first three months of 2010. We are still looking for willing volunteers for the working party who would be happy to get involved and share their knowledge and experience around this very exciting topic.
The dedicated forum for this new SIG is found at http://www.itsmf.co.uk/forum.aspx?group=10161
If you are interested in joining the working group, please contact Chris Roberts - chris.roberts@itsmf.co.uk or 0118 918 6524.
