Below are the biographies for the two candidates up for election for the South West & South Wales Regional Vice Chair. Please read them and then click on the link at the bottom to vote. 

 

Stephen James Pratt

I am currently working as a service management consultant for Global Knowledge and provide training and consultancy services in ITIL, SFIA, ISO/IEC 20000 and Cobit. Additionally I serve as an examiner for the APMG, writing exams for the Capability cycle. I am qualified to ITIL Expert level and deliver all Version 2 courses.

I am keen to offer my services to the regional group and to assist in promoting service management as far as possible.

I offer the following service management experience:

  • ITIL v3 Expert qualified;
  • 20+ years military ICT experience;
  • consulted on service management for military operations
    • current (Change, Configuration and CMDB design)
    • past (Service Desk, Incident and Problem Management);
  • Assisted European Space Agency Operational Command (ESOC) with delicate liaison for Service Desk / SLA, interfacing between service providers.

I would like to stand as Vice Chair in order to support the regional group in any way I can.
