e-Symposia News

The next e-Symposium will be held on July 17th 2008 at 2pm BST on the topic of IT Governance and will look at the new ISO/IEC International IT Governance Standards, user experiences, practical insights and the future of IT Governance. Leading experts will be providing advice and guidance and this month's contributors include Bill Powell, IBM, and Christian Nissen, CFN People.

Christian will be discussing practical examples of using COBIT for IT governance issues in four different environments to make what can seem like abstract disciplines into clearer, more specific frameworks. Bill's presentation is titled "Limit your business risk by applying the new ISO/IEC IT governance standard to IT Service Management" and he will be discussing the significant implications of this industry milestone. Bill is a member of the ISO/IEC working group that produced the new standard so is perfectly placed to discuss future plans and how organisations need to evolve their ITSM strategies. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the sessions.

Don't forget to register for this free event and the September e-Symposium when the topic will be Green IT.

If you are unable to view the online seminar in real time then the recorded presentations and Q&A sessions are available to down load approximately 72 hours after the event. Recent topics now available to view include Service Delivery and Process Automation, and Moving Your ITIL Implementation Forward.
