Effective CSI Seminar - June 2011
This seminar takes place on 22nd June 2011 at the Royal Marines Museum, Southsea
"Using effective CSI to drive down the cost and improve the efficiency of IT"
This one-day seminar allows attendees to:
- Learn the practical, real world applications of CSI - and how these can help you and your organisation improve
- Hear from the CSI Special Interest Group - who have authored a highly rated white papers on CSI
- Find out how to save money by removing from service unneeded services and related infrastructure.
ItSMF UK seminars give delegates an opportunity to learn how other organisations have realised the real benefits from Service Management, based on the sharing of experience and advice.
This seminar will take Continual Service Improvement as its theme and will focus on how to achieve the three key objectives of: measuring, reporting and improving existing processes. Specifically, it will look at how to reduce costs and maximise the benefits of your service management implementation using active service improvement and, importantly in these 'challenging times', without having to invest more money.
How many people have actually taken the steps to understand what Continual Service Improvement will do to their ITIL implementation, and how it will do this? How can we develop and implement our CSI processes and demonstrate the benefits to our organisations?
The ITIL V3 Lifecycle teaches us that Service Improvement should always or 'continually' be happening, and that everyone has a responsibility for it. The theory behind this makes complete sense and we probably all know we should be doing it, but how do we go about it? Cultural changes as well as the actual implementation of the processes need to be addressed. This seminar features experts from within the industry, speaking about how and what they have actually achieved, including some of the pitfalls they have faced along the way.
This seminar explores the role that CSI plays in the Service Lifecycle in helping to maintain your implemented processes. The programme includes speakers from Oracle, CA, Audit Commission & Brightoak Consultancy.
