Nominations are now being accepted

It's that time of year when the doors open for the annual itSMF UK Service Management Award nominations. The categories this year are Student of the Year, Trainer of the Year, Service Management Champion of the Year, Project of the Year, Innovation of the Year, Submission of the Year and the Paul Rappaport Award for Contributions to Service Management. Nominations are invited for all these awards except Student of the Year as this is awarded to the student with the highest mark in the Manager's examination over the past year. Trainer of the Year is awarded to an individual not an organisation and is based on high levels of customer satisfaction and the opinion of the judges after observing a class. Nominations for this award should come from candidates trained by the individual selected. The Service Management Champion of the Year award is for individuals who have made the most outstanding contribution within the Service Management industry during the past year. And for an individual who has played an exceptional role over several years there is the Paul Rappaport Award for Contributions to Service Management.

Project and Innovation of the Year are both awarded to organisations not individuals for successful implementations of new systems and processes that have positively contributed to their organisation. The Submission of the Year is selected from white papers, case studies, points of view, hints and tips sent through to itSMF UK via the Submissions channel. Log on to the website and navigate to the Members Area for more information on how to submit a paper.

If you know someone who deserves recognition at the prestigious itSMF UK Conference and Exhibition in November please get in touch. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted later this summer to make their final contributions to the judging process as appropriate and the winners will be announced during the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 11th November.
