Special Interest Groups

The Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are subject specific groups, and are a free membership benefit to members. Each group has a working party of volunteer members who focus on creating collateral which enables opportunities for group work and networking.

The main focus has been upon sharing knowledge with each SIG and encouraging its pool of experts to produce collateral to benefit the wider membership. As a result of this drive and the hard work put in by the SIG working parties, there have been a variety of activities across the groups ranging from writing articles and assisting with supplements for ServiceTalk the Journal through to the Service Level Management group having a book published.

The current SIGs are listed below and for further details please go to the SIG Home Pages listed below:

Interest from within the itSMF UK membership is growing in this area as seen in the number of new proposals received at each Services Committee meeting.

Any proposal for a new SIG will be detailed within e-ServiceTalk with a call for interest, if you are keen to get more involved please look out for these or alternatively contact Ben Clacy (ben.clacy@itsmf.co.uk) or Chris Roberts (chris.roberts@itsmf.co.uk)
