Welcome to the Scottish Regional Group

In this year and beyond we aim to continue to build upon our previous success.

To ensure that we continue to meet your needs I'd like to invite you to come forward with your ideas for themes, speakers, topics as you all have experiences, war stories, different industry experience and perspectives that I am sure would be of interest to our membership.

These are YOUR events and the Scottish Team are here to make them happen.

We want to ensure that these events are as valuable as possible so I'd strongly encourage you to share your ideas and experiences by attending and participating.

We call upon you the membership to guide us as to what these topics these events should cover and what format they should take.

What are your main priorities for the remainder of this year and next? What sort of events would you like to see e.g. more interaction e.g. special interest groups, more hands on, more world experts or more local real hands on war stories from those on the ground? Please feel free to contact me or representatives of the itSMF with your ideas and if you would like to contribute all the better.

In addition whether you are looking for answers to long pondered questions or simply want to come along, meet fellow professionals and find out what is happening in the industry I'd strongly encourage you to attend and take the opportunity to share experiences and network.

The Team and I look forward to meeting you.

Best Regards

Peter Kirkwood
