2006 Conference Review
This year's 3 day event held at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham was considered one of the best conferences that the itSMF have put together! Delegate numbers were up by 15%.The topic this year was "Theory into Practice", with 5 streams, and one experiential learning session/workshop. As with all our conferences all our presentations were complimented by the exhibition halls in which we had over 80 exhibitors this year.
Evenings were full of networking opportunities and chance to let your hair down. Tuesday night was gala evening and awards ceremony.
Wednesday's closing ceremony was the fullest in many years, James Cracknell, the Olympic rower was the closing speaker and kindly stayed behind afterwards to sign his book.
