About the Awards and How to Enter

We are pleased to announce that submissions are now being accepted for the 2009 itSMF UK IT Service Management Industry Awards.

About the Awards

itSMF UK has developed an industry awards program, as an opportunity to showcase IT Service Management best practices and standards to the IT industry and businesses that are heavily reliant on IT in the management and delivery of services to their customers.

The IT Service Management Awards are awarded annually, and are recognised as genuine industry-wide awards for outstanding achievement in the field of Service Management. Nominations for the awards are accepted from the industry as whole. The award criteria for each category are clearly defined as is the judging of each category. The nominations will be assessed by a totally impartial panel of judges, drawn from experienced industry professionals. With the finalists and winners being announced at our prestigious Awards Dinner, which this year takes place on the 9th November 2009.

We now invite submissions for eight industry awards, and encourage you to step into the spotlight as we celebrate our industry and recognise your outstanding achievements within it. Deadline for entries is 1st September 2009 (Midnight - UK time). With the Trainer of the Year nominations to be received by 12th August 2009 (Midnight - UK time).

• The Paul Rappaport Award for Outstanding Contribution to Service Management

• The IT Service Management Project of the Year

• The Service Innovation of the Year

• The IT Service Management Champion of the Year

• Best Practice White Paper Submission of the Year

• Trainer of the Year

• Student of the Year: ITIL

  Please note Individuals are automatically entered into this Award if they have taken two or more ITIL Intermediate qualifications within the UK. You can view criteria and judging process by clicking here.   

• The Student of the Year: itSMF ISO/IEC 20000 
  Please note individuals are automatically entered into this Award when taking the ISO/IEC 20000 Consultants exam through the itSMF scheme. You can view criteria and judging process by clicking here.
