About the Presentation

This session will be available to pre-book online Wednesday 28th October - Friday 6th November 2009

Phoenix, the brand new and exciting offering from G2G3 is a highly interactive Business Continuity simulation which brings to life the increasing threats posed to organizations today - highlighting why now, more than ever, Business Continuity Management (BCM) is paramount within any IT enterprise.

Phoenix has been developed to reflect an organization operating in today’s challenging business environments which is faced with an unexpected major disaster. Through the use of gaming dynamics, Phoenix introduces the challenges of BCM and accelerates understanding, involvement and acceptance of BCM methodology and best practice including BS 25999.

Using a realistic and thrilling scenario, participants are challenged, following a major disaster, with taking a business from a state of emergency to recovery of its mission critical services, personnel and facilities before the MTPD (Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption) is breached.

Phoenix transforms learning around Business Continuity into an engaging, fun and highly memorable experience. This unique learning approach creates rapid realization of the catastrophic consequences of poor BCM and why it is essential that BCM is considered a mission-critical function and not simply an afterthought.

Phoenix will be of particular interest to participants who have interest or responsibility in running IT or business departments who may be impacted should a disaster occur.
