About the Presentation |
Defining the role of IT in terms of providing systems which support business processes is becoming not enough. There are distinct trends, including automation, which change the relationship with the business, their products/services, and their external customers. The time is right to change the emphasis, positioning IT as an integral strategic part of the business rather than a supplier. IT must step up to the challenge, taking responsibility for the success of the business – not only supporting business processes, but owning the business outcomes and benefits as well as directly interacting with external customers and enabling products/services. In this session, BSMimpact will discuss the nature of this challenge, sharing case studies and approaches used with various customers. |
