Title

The Control Freak cometh: Applying Best Practice for Infrastructure Compliance

Presenter

David Stephenson
CTG (UK) Ltd

About the Presentation

For many organisations, regulatory compliance is a requirement. For the average IT department, getting and maintaining a compliant infrastructure seems like too big a hill to climb - and unnecessary bureaucracy to boot! Where do you start and what are the ground rules? What kind of things do I need to have in place, and what approach should I take to get there? How do the various best practices available equate to specific controls and why is there more than one? In this presentation, these issues are addressed to help you plot a course through the maze of best practice frameworks in the context of achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance with a focus on specific IT infrastructure controls that everyone should have!
