About the Presentation |
Northumbrian Water Ltd (NWL) and the University of Teesside (UoT) have been working as partners since August 2008 under a Collaboration Innovation Partnership (CIP) part funded by the local Regional Development Agency, One North East. The partnership was formed to implement a service management process within NWL over a six month period. UoT was selected as the Collaboration Partner they deliver service management as part of their curriculum.
This presentation will describe the CIP and its benefits, move on to the challenges of delivering service management in Higher Education and finish by questioning the role that business and education play in the service management arena.

About the Speaker |
Claire has worked in water industry for 18 years. Her career started in Customer Service, which was where the awareness of service delivery began. From there she transferred into Finance and finally made the move into IT 12 years ago. Since then she has worked in various management roles driving the implementation of ITIL throughout the organisation.
