About the Presentation	Employers are interested in competence, not just pieces of paper. However, the ITIL qualification doesn’t appear to be targeted in this way. In this session, Aidan tackles some of the issues that he sees with the current programme and why he believes it needs a rethink by the examination body and training organisations.
About the Speaker	Aidan is one the world’s leading independent authorities on, and a passionate champion of, IT Service Management. After 20 years working for ICL in a variety of training and consultancy roles around the globe, he spent 8 years as CEO of itSMF UK and International, overseeing phenomenal growth and spreading the SM gospel. A Fellow of both the ISM & the BCS, he has contributed to many ITSM publications (including ITIL), co-authored the BSI standard and its International successor (ISO/IEC 20000), chaired the ITIL V3 refresh programme board and participates in many initiatives to raise professional standards.
