CMMI-SVC or ITIL. Which one or both?

Title: CMMI-SVC or ITIL. Which one or both?
Topic/Stream: CSI
Presentation Synopsis: First we had ITIL and ISO20000 next we have CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC). Do we need both or will one do? This presentation will describe the CMMI for Services framework, exploring how it compares to ITIL and looking at the strengths and weaknesses of each.
The session will give guidance on how and where they can be used, drawing on a range of case studies from early adopters of the CMMI-SVC model to review the benefits of using these frameworks together or in isolation.
To wrap up we will explore the advantages and disadvantages of both and indicate how you can use them in combination to get the maximum advantage for your business by using ITIL to implement the detail of your service processes and CMMI-SVC to improve your processes to make them more efficient.

This presentation will interest those who are new to CMMI and experienced practitioners alike.
