Self Assessment
The self-assessment questionnaire was developed by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC - formerly the CCTA) as a way of understanding an organisation's level of adoption of best practice within IT Service Management.
This version of the self-assessment questionnaire is based on the best practice guidelines given with ITIL version 2.

The self-assessment questionnaire is being re-developed in line with ITIL version 3 as part of the complementary portfolio in 2008.
