Description of Role and Responsibilities:
My main responsibility is to ensure the safe distribution of books to our customers worldwide. My role includes packing books, liaising with couriers, invoicing orders, answering queries regarding the delivery of books, ordering new stock in, as well as receiving deliveries sent to us.
Average Day:
A normal day would start by collecting orders taken through our online bookstore and answering queries by phone or email, creating the invoices, packing the books and posting them out worldwide. Once this process has been completed I record all outgoing deliveries to keep a record of everything we have sent out.
What do you enjoy most?
I enjoy the variety of queries we receive from customers and answering all the different questions they have. This makes everyday feel different and adds to the challenge, which keeps me motivated and interested. I also enjoy meeting the courier drivers on a daily basis as they can be a lot of fun.
