Officers and Directors
The positions of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Financial Director and International Director will automatically carry directorships of itSMF Ltd.
The Chairman must not only be independent but also be seen to be so and will therefore be elected from amongst the ranks of either the Individual or Corporate members and not from the Vendor membership. The principle of independence applies equally to the other directors. However, in practice it may prove difficult to recruit volunteers from non-Vendor organisations who are able to devote sufficient time to these roles. It will therefore be permissible for two of these officers to be drawn from the Vendor membership.
